THE VASA MUSEUM
The ship Vaasa capsized and sank in Stockholm in 1628. After 333 years on the seabed, the huge warship was salvaged and the journey could continue. Today, Vaasa is the world's best-preserved 17th century ship.
Gamla Stan or the Old Town, is the heart of Stockholm and where the city was founded in the Middle Ages. In the Old Town you will find sights such as the Royal Palace, the Riksdag, the changing of the guard, museums and libraries mixed with artworks, squares and parks. Enjoy the crowds, cobblestones, outdoor cafes and hundreds of small shops.
